Concept Art / Design System

So I've attached all the sketches and the final drawings here. This includes all the messy process work from my notes, to my sketches, and even down to the digital wireframes. I've also captioned off each image in case it's not clear.

This is from my sketchbook and these notes are consistent with the Teochew words for the certain animals and even down to what kind of character design approach I wanted to take with them.

This is the sketch of all the animals, with the tallest at about 7 heads, and the smallest at nearly 3 heads tall. I didn't manage to color all of them, so you'll have to forgive me for the few I managed to color in.

This also includes the design system I developed, it consists of the fonts Nelson and Usual, both from Adobe Fonts. I was able to clean up Nelson through Illustrator's Image trace and settled on a sort of clean but also adventurous look with my three favorite colors. As for these buttons, it was fun to consider how to make it look rugged but also modern enough that it's recognizably a learning tool also.
